Border League Cup
A great win on the extra end against Downsman BC at Popesmead BC yesterday. Scores were 31-31 after the regulation 18 ends but Gary’s rink managed a 2 shot win in the decider.
Well done to all who played in the final and the previous rounds. Also many thanks to all the RBC members who came and supported us.
Border League
Fantastically close result for the Division 2 title last night. RBC needed a 10 nil result at home against Lindfield who were holding top place. RBC won comfortably on two rinks and the third rink was 14-14 after 17 ends. The final end was decided on a close measure in favour of Lindfield – so 8-2 to RBC which was a great result on the night but we remain in 2nd place. This still means we are promoted to Division 1.
Don’t forget our Cup team are defending our BL Cup title at Popesmead BC against Downsman BC on Saturday at 10 am. Go and support if you can.
