St Anne’s Drive Gate Access

20/06/2018

Message from Bryan Gaunt:

I am writing to remind members of the procedure I have agreed with Reigate & Banstead Borough Council regarding the gate access from St Anne’s Drive.

The Gate is to remain open for the duration of the following:

  • All home inter-club matches
  • Friday night Drive
  • Border League home matches
  • Special invents such as Men’s Invitation, Bowls &BBQ, President’s Day etc.

At the end of the above events, the last person leaving the club should ensure the gate is closed and locked.

All other days such as casual roll-ups, Tuesday Triples, club competitions, Green Team Maintenance days etc. the gate MUST be closed upon members entering and exiting from St Anne’s Drive.

I have strived to get the Council to agree to the new procedure and it is imperative for members to adhere to it.

I appreciate there have been a couple of instances where certain allotment holders have made things difficult and these I have reported to the council. However, in order to ‘keep the peace’ I would ask if you could remain calm and collected if you are confronted and report the incident to either myself or a member of the Committee.

Thank you for your cooperation

Bryan Gaunt
