Eyeworks Men’s Invitation Day

30/07/2017

16 teams from Kent, Surrey & Sussex competed in  this year’s Eyeworks Men’s Invitation Day  including an Under 25 team from RBC.

Sutton B took the trophy after a close final against Old Coulsdon.

Redhill took 4th place after losing their play off to Reigate Priory. Well done to all involved for an enjoyable day.

There are 3 unclaimed bottle raffle prizes – if you recognise the names then please let us know.

Border League Cup Final

Correction to date in the Fixture Card.

We are advised that the date for the final is now Saturday 12th August at 10 a.m. and not as shown in the Fixture Card.  The venue is Popesmead BC.

More Names Please

It’s a busy time of the season and a casualty of this is the away match v Godstone on Weds 2nd August. This has been cancelled by RBC due to insufficient numbers willing to play.

Your Captain Brian Sabey wants to avoid another cancellation and has asked all that can to please sign up for the away match v Purley Bury on Sunday 6th August.

Border League

RBC beat Reigate Priory 8-2 on 27th July to maintain our push for promotion.

The Border League Cup Final will be against Downsman on 13th August. Venue not yet known.

New Website

Welcome to our new look Website. We are still developing it so any constructive comments are welcomed. Of necessity  we have cut down a lot of the content from our old website but hopefully all the essentials are there. The Latest News page is a blog so the latest posts will appear first – so scroll down to see older news. Many thanks are due to Steve Whiting for suggesting the way forward when our old website fell over, and for his continuing support during the transition stage.

Border League Cup

RBC won home and away against Monotype on Sunday 23rd July in the semi-final. We wait to hear who we will meet in the final on Sunday 13th August. We are the defending cup holders.

Current Hours

There are three bowls sessions every weekday – starting at 2.00pm, 4.00pm and  6.00pm. On Wednesday and Thursday there are sessions starting at 11.00 am. Members can pre-book a rink online.

We are open Saturday & Sunday for Club Matches and Events.
