SURREY COUNTY BOWLS LEOPARD AWARD CONFERRED ON JOHN HOAD
We were delighted that John and Joan Hoad could join us at the Men’s Invitation Day on 28th July for John to receive this prestigious award for his significant contribution to the sport of bowls. The award was presented by Roger Lanham, SCBA President accompanied by Derek Harvey, SCBA Secretary.
CHIPSTEAD WIN RBC MEN’S INVITATION DAY TROPHY
16 teams competed on a fine day at RBC with Chipstead, Godstone, Sutton B and Felbridge filling the top four places. Dickie Day collected the trophy for Chipstead surrounded by the other finalists and Monty Brigden, RBC President. Our thanks go to Eyeworks Opticians for their sponsorship of the event, to Gary Parsons and Ames Brisley for the organisation, Belinda Young and David Rigg for the catering and all the other members who helped on the day.
