It is with regret that we have to inform you that Monty Brigden passed away peacefully this morning. There is some comfort in the fact that he was at home with his family.

Monty had a long association with Redhill Bowling Club as a Director, Men’s Captain and Club President. He will be greatly missed.

We have also recently learned that Gordon Loader, an ex-Battlebridge BC player; social member and short mat player at Redhill  has died suddenly at his home.

Our condolences go to both families.

Today would have been the final round of the league prior to the play offs if Corvid-19 had not hit us. Here are the standings when the league was terminated. Like Liverpool FC the Lions only lost one match and were clearly heading for the title.
