SHORT MAT SEASON 2020-21

18/09/2020

After consultation with the short mat organisers, and in view of the current COVID-19 restrictions, the Emergency Team has decided that it is not advisable to commence any short mat activities at present.

This is obviously very disappointing to all participants but the safety of our members must be protected as far as possible.

We will keep this under review.

CLOSURE OF THE GREEN

18/09/2020

It was agreed at the Emergency Team virtual meeting last evening that the green would remain open for bookable sessions until Friday 25th September.

From Monday 21st September only Rinks 1 to 3 in the East-West direction are to be used. This will enable the Green Team to commence their end-season activities on the other rinks.

Many thanks to our Green Stewards for giving their time to do this essential task. This has given those members wanting to enjoy some bowls the opportunity. Over 250 bowls sessions will have taken place this season.
