Fabulous and well attended first Friday night drive of the season. Some fun bowling followed up by hot dogs and a few drinks where members could socialise at the appropriate distance. Great to see three new members as well.

As you all will have probably suspected the Charity Drive scheduled for Saturday 8th May has been postponed. It will now be combined with Captains’ Day on Saturday 25th September.
The Surrey President’s Match has been moved at his request from 20th June to Saturday 31st July.
A new entry in the fixture card is a friendly away match v Bletchingley on Sunday 25th July.
Our popular Friday Drive starts on 7th May. It is open to Social and Playing Members. Just turn up at 6:00pm for a 6:15pm start. Spectators are welcome on the terrace if you make a purchase from the bar. Hotdogs will be on sale when bowling ends. The weather forecast is dry but a bit chill.
The teams were drawn this afternoon for the internal leagues. Team leaders will be in touch with their players over the next few days to check availability and provide a playing schedule.
The start times and dates are:
Wednesday Evening Pairs – 6.15pm on 12th May
Tuesday Afternoon Triples – 2.30pm on 18th May

We hope to commence these popular friendly internal leagues soon after we enter Step 3 which we expect be from Monday 17th May.
We have the bare minimum of entrants to make these leagues viable. If you would like to participate and have not signed up, or unsure that you have, then please contact John Davison (Tuesday Triples) or Marion Gatland (Wednesday Pairs). We will be checking directly with some members who have played previously but have not signed up this year.
