CLUB COMPETITIONS
The first round of the Men’s Singles was completed on Friday 25th June, later than scheduled due to bad weather. Sam Cates has updated the sheets in the Clubhouse and these can also be viewed on our website in the Member’s Area/Club Competitions.
If you are the challenger (red text or highlighted) do not delay in arranging your next match as the deadline to complete the next round is 18th July.
SOCIAL BOWLS AFTERNOON – 26th JUNE
Kind weather helped the brightly dressed players and spectators enjoy a light hearted afternoon of bowls yesterday. The winning team were Nicola, Ralph, Liam & Bryan who tied at +6 shots with Marion, Frank & Allan but took the top prizes on shots scored. Darren took the prize for brightest outfit. With the delay in easing of COVID-19 restrictions the Bowls & BBQ scheduled for Saturday 26th June is being replaced by a Social Bowls Afternoon. See notice below for more details.

BORDER LEAGUE – AWAY MATCH v LINDFIELD – 6 pm THURSDAY 17th JUNE
We are in urgent need of more players for this match. Although this is a league match less experienced bowlers can play at position 2 in the rink. Please sign up on line or contact Paul Eales by text or call his mobile (number is in Fixture Card).
We will endeavour to give those without transport a lift so please indicate if you need one or can provide a lift. Also those already signed up are asked to advise if you are willing to give members a lift.
