QUIZ’N’CHIPS

We have over 50 members and guests attending. The list is now closed and Michael will be confirming the number of fish suppers with the shop shortly so please contact Michael Wretham asap if you have any queries or can no longer attend.

ELECTRICAL FAULT

13/02/2018

The electrics are now up and running. All ok for this afternoon’s short mat. Well done Roger for arranging the work and attending site yesterday and today.

ELECTRICAL FAULT

The fault has been reviewed and remedial work is expected to be completed on Monday.
 
THERE WILL BE NO SHORT MAT DRIVE ON SATURDAY 10th FEBRUARY.

ELECTRICAL FAULT AT RBC

06/02/2018

Roger Gatland has reported that a phase switch on the 3 phase power supply board has burnt out today. This means a loss of those electrical services on that phase.

Until we can get an electrical contractor on board we have no lighting in the clubroom and very little heating.

We may have to cancel the short mat on Saturday unless a quick repair is possible.  Also the quiz on Saturday week may have to be postponed.

FIRST AID

The club would like to increase the number of members able to administer first aid. Sam and Gary attended this course last year and spoke highly of it. If any active member would like to attend this course please let John Davison know and he will submit the application. RBC will pay the fee.

QUIZ’N’CHIPS

The Quiz ‘N’Chips evening list is filling up fast. Michael Wretham is limiting numbers to 60 so there are 8 spaces left. Contact Lyn Davison if you want your name added.

EXTRA SHORT MAT SESSION

Extra Short Mat Session – Tuesday 9th January.
Roger & Marion will open up on Tuesday afternoon for a 2.30 pm informal roll up. Just turn up. May repeat on Wednesday 10th if enough interest for the Tuesday session. Usual mid-week catering arrangements.

Current Hours

There are three bowls sessions every weekday – starting at 2.00pm, 4.00pm and  6.00pm. On Wednesday and Thursday there are sessions starting at 11.00 am. Members can pre-book a rink online.

We are open Saturday & Sunday for Club Matches and Events.
