Last night we had 46 quiz participants making up 8 teams plus Quizmasters Ken & Di Jupp and Sam Alan who kindly manned the bar all evening. So the Clubhouse was nicely full. The list is now closed and the fish & chips ordered (thanks Steve). The Clubhouse will be nice and busy and many thanks to those who have already donated a raffle prize. More prizes are always welcome and these can be brought on the night.

In the Spitfire League yesterday a late surge on one rink enabled RBC to beat Godstone 10-0 in our last match of the group stage. We will go through to the finals on 11th March. Due to a deferred match between Caterham and Godstone to be played next week we will not know our final position in the table until then. Our opponents in the semi-final will probably be either Purley Bury or Ashtead & Co who were 1st and 2nd in their group going in to the final round.
In the Colin Hibbs League 4 teams including RBC are currently on 12 points at the top of the table.
In the Outdoor Clubs League RBC Redskins top the table with a 4 point lead.
So well done to all the members representing the club indoors at Donyngs.

As a mark of respect to the late Ann Loader there will be no short mat league on 18th February.
Ann’s funeral is at 1.30 p.m. on that day at the Sussex & Surrey Crematorium.
