DONYNGS IBC LEAGUES

19/03/2020
With DIBC closure this week due to CV-19 the outdoor club’s leagues finished as follows:
Colin Hibbs – RBC were in 3rd place having plated one match less than the 2nd team
OCL – RBC Redskins were in 4th place on equal points with the 2 teams above.
Well done to all who have represented RBC in these 2 leagues and to Roy Wren for the organisation.

SHORT MAT DRIVE RESULTS

19/03/2020

Despite losing our final week to the CV-19 situation we still managed 18 rounds with 27 participants.

The prize winners on shot difference were:

1st Roger Gatland   37 shots

2nd Jan Brunt            31 shots

We will try and get the trophy and prizes to Roger and Jan as soon as circumstances allow.

Many thanks to all who participated and to Lyn, John, Roger & Marion for the organisation.

SHORT MAT DRIVE 21st MARCH

In view of the current advice on CV-19 we have reluctantly decided to cancel this event.
Thanks to all who have supported the drive through the closed season.
We will publish the final standings in due course.

GET TOGETHER CANCELLED

The Directors have decided to cancel this event planned for 26th March.
The Directors will meet on 26th March to discuss the situation and will issue a further statement afterwards.

CV-19 situation

16/03/2020

The RBC Directors are monitoring the CV-19 situation and await a Bowls England emergency meeting on Thursday following which guidance for outdoor clubs is anticipated. We will then advise on whether the Get Together will proceed.

SHORT MAT & CORVID-19

15/03/2020

To reduce risk to our members it has been decided to terminate the Cats League. There will be no play from the 17th March onwards. Team leaders are aware and will notify their players. Steve Whiting will notify Leopards members.
A decision on the final Saturday Drive on 21st March will be made later in the week after we consult with those currently signed up to play.

Current Hours

There are three bowls sessions every weekday – starting at 2.00pm, 4.00pm and  6.00pm. On Wednesday and Thursday there are sessions starting at 11.00 am. Members can pre-book a rink online.

We are open Saturday & Sunday for Club Matches and Events.
