RBC CHRISTMAS DRAW

27/11/2019

You can now get your numbers at the Clubhouse for this year’s draw which will be drawn at the Coffee Morning on 7th December. Just fill your name in the desired squares on the notice on display.
We also need contributions for the Bring & Buy Table so find anything saleable and bring along.

RBC INDOOR BOWLS UPDATE

16/11/2019

Mixed success so far this season.
A close 43-41 win over Godstone on Weds 13th meant that RBC had won all three matches half way through the group stage.
In the Outdoor Clubs League Redhill Redskins are well placed in the table after 6 rounds. Only Caterham Knights have a better record.
Not such good news in the Colin Hibbs League where RBC are 4th from bottom at the moment.

PILLAR DRILL WANTED

CLUB PRESENTATION DINNER

Final preparations are in hand and it is all systems go for our Presentation Dinner on Sunday week (10th November).
Don’t forget it is a 6.30 pm start so we can sit down to eat at 7.00 pm.
Well done to Ann P for the organisation this year.

NEW CLUB SHIRTS

Further to yesterday’s post Ladies’ Size 20/22/24 now available to try on the dates listed.

Note the Ladies sizes are a very tight fit and those Ladies who have tried so far indicate these are the equivalent sizes to current RBC shirts:

RBC Small = New 14,  RBC Medium = New 16, RBC Large = New 18, RBC XL = New 26?

The new Men’s shirts are generally one size bigger e.g. RBC Large = New XL

So best to try one on if you can and know your RBC shirt size when you do!

NEW CLUB SHIRTS

As requested at the AGM Paul Eales has obtained a range of size samples for members to try on. Sizes are Men’s M/L/XL/XXL/XXXL and Ladies’ 12/14/16/18
These will be available to try on in the next week as follows:
Weds 30th Donyngs IBC 4.00-7.00pm
Fri 1st Redhill BC 10.00 – Midday (if weather ok for Green Team)
Sat 2nd Redhill BC 2.00-5.00pm
Tue 5th Redhill BC 2.00-4.30pm
Tue 5th Donyngs IBC 6.45-9.00pm

SHORT MAT NEWS

Next Tuesday’s (29th Oct) short mat league match will have a Halloween theme so if you are playing or spectating please wear something in keeping with this.

CLUBMARK FOR RBC

At a very positive AGM last night Paul Eales announced that RBC had achieved this prestigious accreditation.
Well done to Paul  and all who assisted in the exacting process to achieve this award.

Current Hours

There are three bowls sessions every weekday – starting at 2.00pm, 4.00pm and  6.00pm. On Wednesday and Thursday there are sessions starting at 11.00 am. Members can pre-book a rink online.

We are open Saturday & Sunday for Club Matches and Events.
