DISPOSAL OF BOTTLES/ CANS & SKIP AT RBC

04/09/2020

With no draught beer or cider on in the bar we are generating large amounts of recyclable material at present. Thank you to those members that have already taken material to put in their home bin. If more members could do this that would help spread the burden.

We have space in the skip in the RBC car park if members want to dispose of large items not suitable for household waste collection. This can be done weekdays when the club is open.

30/07/2020

The Emergency Team met via Zoom last evening. It was decided to arrange a DRAWN TRIPLES COMPETITION to commence in August with a final on the weekend of 5th/6th September (our original club finals dates). If you are interested in participating please advise Paul Eales by e-mail to paul.eales@hotmail.co.uk by Saturday 8th August. Format of the competition will depend upon the number entering.

It was also agreed to allow the use of SCOREBOARDS for club competitions from tomorrow (Friday 31st July). or send a Facebook Message to Redhill Bowling Club or email to enquiries@redhillbowlingclub.co.uk

CLUBHOUSE MAINTENANCE MANAGER

01/07/2020

Roger Gatland has kindly agreed to this title. It formalises Roger’s proactive role in identifying issues and solutions. If you are aware of any clubhouse items that need attention, then please let Roger know. Roger will aim to get these carried out using our own members’ skills where possible, but he may on occasion need to call in outside companies.

If members have skills or knowledge to help in a practical way around the clubhouse and are willing to help if a situation arises then please let Roger know.

For the green and surrounds the contact is still Ken Jupp.
