DONYNGS IBC INDOOR LEAGUES UPDATE

27/01/2023
Round 5 of the Spitfire League last Wednesday saw a nail biting finish against Banstead Neville. Always a close match with 2 points secure on the first rink to finish, our other two teams managed to keep our overall deficit to a minimum on the last ends to secure a draw overall. So 4 valuable points to RBC.
We are now in a strong postion to reach the semi-final but need 2 points in Round 6 to go through. We play Caterham on 8th February which is always a difficult match so a full house win for top spot in our squad is somewhat ambitious! Banstead Neville need 10 points against Reigate Priory to challenge us for 2nd place.
In the Colin Hibbs League both Redhill teams are in respectable postions with Redhill A having a match in hand (at least) over the teams above.
Well done to all the RBC players for our good showing so far in both these leagues.
