RBC played Chipstead in the morning semi-finals on 12th August and lost after a close tussle 22-18. We secured 3rd place in the afternoon with a comfortable 20-11 win over Epsom Park. Bletchingley beat Chipstead to win the Area Title.

……….”that Popes Mead had initially agreed to the 16th August, however, they now cannot do that date, so I have now agreed Thursday 23rd August at 6pm. A home match of course. 

I have been checking other BL match results of yesterday! Newdigate beat Horley 8-2 and Lindfield beat Horsham 8-2. This leaves us at present in 5th position on 48pts, Newdigate on 51pts/Lindfield 54pts/Horley 57pts and Horsham 58pts.

 This means two potential outcomes, we get 4pts we survive, get 10pts we could on shot difference win the league! “

There will be no play today – afternoon or evening due to the adverse weather.

The finishing date for the current round of Club Competitions is extended to Thursday 16th August.

Please note there is an away match scheduled for Thursday 16th afternoon. The Border League match v Popesmead has been rearranged again for 23rd August at their request.
