PRE-SEASON GET TOGETHER THURSDAY 24th MARCH

Dear Members & Friends
The pre-season Get Together is next Thursday, 24th March. The start time is 7.30pm but if you still need to hand in your subscription and form then you can do this from about 7.00pm onwards to either Gill Jarrett or John Davison.
Do come along and pick up a copy of the 2022 fixture card and get an update on the forthcoming season. The bar will be open!
Ken Jupp is not able to attend so has produced a comprehensive report on the Green Team’s activities and has included updates on general maintenance, gardening and some house-keeping requests. You are encouraged to read this report and if you feel able to assist the team in any way then please let Ken know or any Club Director or Committee Member. Copies of the report will be available at the Get Together.

FRANK HALL TROPHY AT DONYNGS IBC – SAT 5th MARCH
A Mixed Rinks Tournament for outdoor clubs. Morning and afternoon sessions. Volunteers needed to represent Redhill. Please contact Ames if you would like to play (mobile 07901 682208) as soon as possible – deadline Thursday 24th February. Cost is £4 per player. Lunch available – see below.

Refreshments this year will Sandwiches and hot drinks, there will also be crisps etc. Cost £6.00.
The cost of entry is £16 per team.
We are looking for 16 teams to enter, if you can provide two teams please indicate below. If more than 16 teams enter, a draw will take place & those unsuccessful will be re-imbursed.
The prize money this year is £200 to winner & £100 to runner up.
NEW TEAM SELECTION SYSTEM
All playing members have been sent an email with a request to try out this new system.
Many thanks to Steve Whiting for the latest rink booking and team selection developments.
INDOOR LEAGUES UPDATE
Following the very close 8-2 win against Godstone in the Spitfire League last week, in which two rinks were tied, the updated table is shown below.
Hopefully we will have a strong team available to take on Banstead Rainbow in the final round on 16th March as we need to finish in the top two positions to progress to the finals on 6th April.
In the Colin Hibbs League we have dropped a few places with some recent losses.
Thanks must go to all our members who have represented RBC in these leagues.
NEW RINK BOOKING SYSTEM
An e-mail has been sent to all Playing Members. At last year’s AGM Club Members overwhelmingly voted to continue with a rink booking system.
