MARATHON SPORTS PAIRS REPORT

MARATHON SPORTS REDHILL & DISTRICT PAIRS FINALS TOMORROW AT RBC

Some excellent bowls in store tomorrow with the Semi Finals starting at 11am – line up below. Finals to follow at about 2pm.
Bacon and/or sausage rolls on sale from 10am with lunches to order and tea/cake in the afternoon. Bar open all day.
Do come and support! Weather looks good (at moment).

CLUB COMPETITION FINALS & TROPHIES

Our first Club Competition final of the season – the Drawn Triples – is on Saturday 27th August starting at 10am. The teams competing are:

Ken Ede, Susan Mullard & Allan Penton v Sam Cates, Jenny Eales & Roger Gatland

Spectators are welcome to watch the action.

Please note that all outstanding semi-finals need to be completed by Sunday 28th August to enable the playing schedule to be prepared for Finals Weekend on Saturday 3rd/Sunday 4th September.

Please return trophies from the 2021 finals to the Clubhouse by Friday 2nd September.

REDHILL & DISTRICT PAIRS SPONSORED BY MARATHON SPORTS BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY 29th AUGUST

Of the 33 entries 12 teams will compete in the Men’s, Ladies’ and Plate Competitions so all 6 rinks will be in use. The Semi-Finals will commence at 11am and the Finals at about 2pm.
There is a good spread of Clubs represented so come and support the RBC participants and hopefully see some excellent bowls.
There will be refreshments available from about 10am until the close. See the menu below.
In addition tea and cakes will be on sale during the afternoon. The bar will also be open during the event.
Many thanks to those members who have volunteered to help and have already donated raffle prizes. We would appreciate more raffle prize donations.
