Dear Playing Members

Thank you to those who have been using our online system for signing up for matches.

However, we are struggling to fill the teams for some friendly and NDL fixtures. This has recently resulted in several cancelled matches.

The online system will remain our primary system. We need  to increase sign up rates for matches. From tomorrow paper sign up match sheets will also be available on the noticeboard in the Clubhouse. We hope this makes our system more inclusive and better publicises the fixtures.

Please urge your friends to sign up or we will lose more fixtures.

Teams will be chosen from the names signed up by both methods and will be displayed both online and in the clubhouse.

It is not necessary to sign up on both.

This trial will run until the end of this season and will be reviewed.

THE CLUB WILL BE OPEN ON MONDAY 18th JULY AFTERNOON & EVENING BUT MEMBERS ARE ADVISED TO AVOID PLAYING IN THE EXTREME HEAT. RBC are playing Horley BC tomorrow with one rink home and away in the Border League Cup Semi-Final. Match starts at 10am. Also the North Downs League match at home v Chipstead has been moved to a 10am start to avoid the afternoon’s higher temperatures. Spectators are welcome.
