SOME HELP NEEDED A.M. FRIDAY 14th APRIL

The Green Team are working hard to get the green in great shape for our opening on Wednesday 19th April.
Ken Jupp has asked is 3 or 4 fit members can also come along next Friday morning from about 9.30 a.m. to help move the benches/tables/chairs from the Visitors Changing Room into place on the terrace and green surrounds.

World Bowls – Laws of the Sport of Bowls Crystal Mark Fourth Edition (Version 4)
The Laws of the Sport of Bowls (Fourth Edition) apply in England from 1st April 2023. This booklet also includes the current domestic regulations for Bowls England.
Individual copies are £5.80 . If 9 members order one through RBC they will cost you £4 (including 37p for RBC ). Please email jrdavison@ntlworld.com if you would like to order one. We will not order a club pack of 10 unless sufficient members respond.

TUESDAY SHORT MAT DRIVE – FINAL WEEK

21/03/2023

Janet Mahoney topped the shot difference table with an impressive +71 score. Roger Gatland took second place with +53 well clear of Karen Buick in third place.
Thanks to Gill Jarrett for presenting the prizes and to Roger and Marion Gatland for running all the Tuesday sessions.

The short mat season ends on Saturday afternoon with the final drive.

Current Hours

There are three bowls sessions every weekday – starting at 2.00pm, 4.00pm and  6.00pm. On Wednesday and Thursday there are sessions starting at 11.00 am. Members can pre-book a rink online.

We are open Saturday & Sunday for Club Matches and Events.
