RBC 2023 BOWLING AWARDS

01/01/2024
In your correspondent’s humble opinion these awards are merited:
Top Man Bowler – the easy choice is Darren Rosser for his Championship Singles win plus Restricted Singles and Junior Singles wins plus the 2 Wood Pairs with Allan Penton and Drawn Triples success with Ann Pannell and John Davison.
Top Lady Bowler – Shirley Parris for her Championship Singles win and Mixes Pairs finalist trophy.
Top Team – Jubilee League winners Redhill Rollers who recorded 9 wins out of 12.
Come Back Kid(s) – tied between Rob Hobart and John Davison for their Handicap Pairs success with a combined age of 156 years. John added to this also winning the 100 Up and the Drawn Triples.
Special Mention – Barry Martyn for toppling some good opponents to win the 2 Wood Singles.
Well done all of the above and to everyone who represented RBC in matches and took part in the Club Competitions.
Let’s hope for another great year of bowls in 2024.
