SUCCESSFUL XMAS COFFEE MORNING

09/12/2023
We were pleased that over 40 members and guests came along on a very wet day for our 10th Christmas Coffee Morning. Well done to Lyn Davison and Gill Jarrett for making very tasty cakes and sausage rolls and serving accompanying teas and coffees.
Also, many thanks to all the other members – too many to mention everyone- who donated stuff, helped prepare the Clubhouse and worked hard on the day including clearing up afterwards.
Great that Beryl and Leslie from our 2023 Charity – KSS Air Ambulance – were able to join us and receive our cheque for £350 collected during the season. They also counted the donations in the collection jars bringing our total donation in 2023 to this very worthwhile charity to over £400.
It was also a good opportunity to present Shirley Parris and Barry Martyn with their trophies for the Ladies’ Championship and the Men’s 2 Wood Singles. Shirley & Jim Mason also received their finalist trophies for the Mixed Pairs.
