SHORT MAT ARRANGEMENTS – 2022/23 SEASON

Thank you for signing up for the 2022/23 Short Mat Season or for expressing interest.
Based on the information you have provided the following are our plans:
Tuesday 25th October & Wednesday 26th October. Practice sessions open to all and taster sessions for those who want to try out this form of the sport. Just turn up on either or both days.
Tuesday 1st November. First week of the internal Cats League. Format (Pairs or Triples) to be decided after the 2nd practice session on 26th November based on the final number of players. Teams will be drawn that afternoon. The League will run every Tuesday until April except for a Christmas/New Year break.
Can members who have indicated they want to have a try first or have put a ? on the sign up form please let us know by the end of the 2nd practice session on 26th October of your decision.
Saturday 5th November. First Saturday Afternoon Drive. Sign up in the Clubhouse or call/e-mail John Davison to book a place. 16 slots plus 4 reserves. Teams are drawn each week at random.
ALL THE ABOVE SESSIONS START AT 2PM FOR 2 HOURS OF BOWLS. PLEASE ARRIVE AT 1.50PM FOR A PROMPT START. £2 FEE PER SESSION TO COVER TEA/COFFEE, BISCUITS OR CAKE AND ELECTRICITY, WATER ETC.
