BOWLS & BBQ CHARITY DAY

29/06/2022
34 members signed up and took part in our Jubilee themed novelty bowls and a delicious BBQ on a lovely afternoon. Unfortunately 6 members had to pull out due to illness.
David Rigg won the Spider and Queen Janet Brunt, Viscount Ames Brisley & Duke Daniel Mullen took top spot in the bowls decided on ends won against Lady Marion Gatland, Duke Darren Rosser & Prince John Davison.
We are sending £230 shortly to Loveworks from the raffle and meal proceeds. The collection tins and buckets will be returned with contents (including the Spider proceeds) to the charity at the end of the Season
Obviously this couldn’t have happened without Belinda Young and David Rigg‘s sterling efforts on the catering and all the other members who helped with the organisation and set-up/clear-up on the day before and on the Saturday of the event.
Well done all who participated and helped.
