REDHILL BOWLING CLUB – NEW SEASON ARRANGEMENTS & OPENING DRIVE

10/04/2022

E-MAIL SENT TO ALL MEMBERS (BCC) TODAY:

Dear Member

The Green will open for weekday roll ups on the afternoon of Wednesday 20th April. Please use the rink booking system if you are able to.

The Green Team has requested that members attending the Club during the opening week could put out the terrace tables and chairs. Alternatively, you can come along and do this on Tuesday 19th April in the morning when the Club is open for the Green Team.

Our first event is an OPENING DRIVE starting at 2.30pm on Sunday 24th April. This will be a gentle competitive session with teams organised by Lyn Davison. Please sign up on the club website OR in the Clubhouse. Spectators are welcome.

Thank you to those members who have volunteered to act as GREEN STEWARDS. We still have some slots in the rota with no names or only one person or partners to carry out this duty – see the list below. Ideally, we need two stewards for each session to be there once a fortnight. If you would be willing to add your name to the rota then please contact Ros Penton. Full instructions will be given and you are not required to open and serve at the bar.

Green Stewards are required for:

NO NAMES – Thursday evening and Friday afternoon

ADDITIONAL COVER – Wednesday afternoon & evening and Friday evening

Sessions with no green stewards will only be available if a key holders is willing to open and close the club. An alert message will confirm these sessions when you make a booking.

Enjoy your summer season!
