RESULTS UPDATE – 25th JULY

25/07/2021

On 22nd July RBC entertained Lindfield in the Border League. After a promising start by RBC our opponents came back strongly securing a win on 2 rinks and 8 points to RBC’s 2 points. This leaves us bottom of Division 1 with 3 matches to play all against the teams immediately above us.

The Border League Cup match this morning has been postponed due to flooding at Lindfield.

Earlier in the week there were mixed fortunes in Surrey Area 3 competitions. Both our Top 4 teams were knocked out by Sutton and Cheamfields on consecutive evenings. In the Mixed 4 the RBC team of Jennifer Eales, Paul Eales, Bryan Gaunt and Steve Whiting beat Ashtead 26-11 and will play Leatherhead or Warlingham Park in the Area Semi-finals. RBC play Old Coulsdon in the Senior 4s at home on Wednesday July 28th starting at 6pm.
