This is on Saturday 4th Maigret 2019 – Thyme 2.00 pm. Do Endeavour to leave your Holmes and come down to RBC to play or just watch from the Banks. The bowls will not just be about getting near the Kojak. Raffles prizes would be appreciated. Do Troy and come!

ABANDONED PROPERTY
Bowls, bags and clothing etc. were cleared from the changing rooms during the Spring Clean in March.
There is still a large quantity of unclaimed items in the Visitors’ Changing Room. This will be disposed of on Sunday morning with items sold for club funds where possible.
If you own any of these items please come and claim them before Sunday 28th April or speak with a Committee Member.
OUTDOOR SEASON STARTS TODAY
Green looks great this morning for this afternoon’s first session of the season. Well done the Green Team.
Volunteer Green Stewards are on duty afternoons (from 2.30) and evenings (from 6.00) on weekdays and will allocate a rink to all needing one. Please say hello to our new members when you see them and introduce yourselves.
CATERING ROTA 2019
Many thanks to Marion and Roger for organising this year’s rota and to those members who have offered o do additional turns.
The catering list is shown below and is displayed on the kitchen hatch with a blank sheet. If any members cannot do the allotted date then please find a swap and write it on the blank sheet. This will help the Captains when selecting the teams.
SHORT MAT LEAGUE PLAY OFF
Congratulations to the Lions who just overcame the Tigers to win the play off yesterday. 3rd place were the Leopards with the Pumas propping up the league.
30 members enjoyed some good bowling followed by a sit down two course meal.
Well done to Pam & Steve Whiting, Roger & Marion Gatland for running the league during the winter season.
