WEDNESDAY 3 WOOD PAIRS LEAGUE – UPDATE
Many thanks to Roger & Marion Gatland for offering to organise this league and to the additional members who have volunteered to play – we now have 21 players which makes it viable.
Teams are being organised to enable the league to commence on 15th May and it will run on Wednesday evenings when there is not a club match.
CENTURY CLUB
We will be drawing the first numbers on Saturday at the Charity Drive. The image shows we have some numbers still available at £5 each which gives you the chance to win one of 4 £10 cash prizes each month from May to September. For any further numbers sold by Saturday we will donate £1 to the Defibrillator Fund. If a blank number is drawn on Saturday then the £10 prize will go to the Fund.
To purchase a number contact John Davison by phone or email at jrdavison@ntlworld.com
WEDNESDAY PAIRS LEAGUE
Unfortunately we are a few players short to make this league viable this season. Also we need someone to manage the league which is due to start on 8th May and is played when there is no club match on a Wednesday.
If there are no volunteers to run the league or additional players then we will have to cancel it this season.
If this happens the entry fee will be refunded.
RBC CHARITY DRIVE
This is on Saturday 4th Maigret 2019 – Thyme 2.00 pm. Do Endeavour to leave your Holmes and come down to RBC to play or just watch from the Banks. The bowls will not just be about getting near the Kojak. Raffles prizes would be appreciated. Do Troy and come!

ABANDONED PROPERTY
Bowls, bags and clothing etc. were cleared from the changing rooms during the Spring Clean in March.
There is still a large quantity of unclaimed items in the Visitors’ Changing Room. This will be disposed of on Sunday morning with items sold for club funds where possible.
If you own any of these items please come and claim them before Sunday 28th April or speak with a Committee Member.
