OUTDOOR SEASON STARTS TOMORROW – WEDNESDAY 20th APRIL
The Green Team have completed their preparations and following a test session this afternoon the green will be available for weekday roll ups from tomorrow afternoon.
Our first event – the Opening Drive – is on Sunday 24th April starting at 2.30pm. See the notice for more details. There is still time to sign up online, or contact Lyn Davison. We already have plenty of offers of cake.
SHORT MAT LEAGUE AT RBC
Well done to Alan Beaver’s Lions Team for winning the 2022 season of the Cats League and retaining their 2021 title. This week’s players were John and Brenda shown here receiving the magnificent winner’s trophy from Steve Whiting. Roy D was the other 2022 team member.

Congratulations to Brenda Avery on topping the final table with a big win on the last drive of the season. Playing with Eric Came and Susan Mullard they registered a 20-6 win. This coupled with defeat on the other rink for the previous clear leader John Currie put John into a very creditable 3rd place. …

Dear Members & Friends
The pre-season Get Together is next Thursday, 24th March. The start time is 7.30pm but if you still need to hand in your subscription and form then you can do this from about 7.00pm onwards to either Gill Jarrett or John Davison.
Do come along and pick up a copy of the 2022 fixture card and get an update on the forthcoming season. The bar will be open!
Ken Jupp is not able to attend so has produced a comprehensive report on the Green Team’s activities and has included updates on general maintenance, gardening and some house-keeping requests. You are encouraged to read this report and if you feel able to assist the team in any way then please let Ken know or any Club Director or Committee Member. Copies of the report will be available at the Get Together.
