SHORT MAT SEASON 2025/26

18/08/2025

Text of e-mail sent to members today:

We aim to run our usual short mat drives starting the week after the Club AGM.

To encourage more members to take part we are waiving the short mat fee for this season for club members (playing or social). More details are given on the attached sign-up sheet which will be available on the Clubhouse Noticeboard tomorrow.

Please add you name and tick which or both sessions if you planning to join in. Although mildly competitive the drives are played in a friendly way and are open to all abilities.

The first two sessions (21st and 25th October) will be used for practice purposes so are suitable for anyone who hasn’t played this bowls format to come along for a taster session.

Please contact Roger, Marion or me if you have any questions.

Regards

John Davison
