DELIA TERRY

20/11/2023
Text of e-mail sent to all Members (via bcc)
I have received the following message from Gail Terry and am sharing it with you in full:
“Sadly my lovely mum died peacefully last Sunday, 12 November after a short stay in East Surrey hospital, at the age of 92.
She enjoyed very much being a member of RBC, and was disappointed she was unable to return to short mat. She joined RBC in about 2002 for lawn bowls, and after her stroke, she followed RBC’s activities on the web site and via Facebook keenly. She came to watch some of the finals matches in 2023. She enjoyed the friendships she made and the conversations with you all.   Thank you.
It was her clear wish that she did not want a funeral.”
Delia was a loyal member of RBC and always supported our activities when she was able to. We will miss her. Our thoughts are with Gail at this sad time.
Regards
John Davison
