SHORT MAT SEASON 2022/23 – UPDATE

Dear member

We had good practice sessions yesterday and today. Unfortunately, we have insufficient players to form viable teams for the Cats League. Consequently, we have decided to replace the Cats League this season with a Tuesday Drive. The format will be identical to the popular Saturday Drive with teams drawn on the day. No need to sign up initially – we will keep this under review if numbers wanting to play regularly exceed 16.

The Tuesday Drive commences on 1^st November. Please arrive by 1.50 pm for a 2 pm start. There will be a one hour taster session starting at 1 pm on the 1^st November. The first Saturday Drive is on 5^th November.

A tea/coffee & biscuits break will be taken at 3 pm followed by a further hour of bowls. There will be a charge of £2 to cover refreshments and overheads.

The last Drives in 2022 will be on:

Saturday 10^th December

Tuesday 13^th December

Weather permitting the Drives will restart on:

Saturday 7^th January

Tuesday 10^th January

If you are still to pay your short mat fee of £19 please pay by cash or card at your next session.
