FUN COMPETITIONS ETC

11/09/2020

A MESSAGE FROM PAUL EALES TO THE RBC FUN COMPETITION PARTICIPANTS:

Hi All,

Now we are reaching the climax of the bowls competitions with the Triples final this Sunday at 2.30pm. I would like to thank every player who has taken part in these competitions and hopefully you have enjoyed the experience of the modified format for this season.None of us had any idea how the season would unfold with the COVID-19 guidelines, however, it is important to highlight how everyone has followed the guidelines, thank you.The round-robin format appears to have worked well and interesting to note, it is possible you may have played more internal club matches than in a normal season!

Horley Fun Competition Match – 19th September at 2.30pm

The concept is that the Redhill fun competition winners will play the Horley fun competition winners. Priority will be given to the players in the order finished in the fun competitions. (A player cannot qualify for more than one event). Selection will be completed by the beginning of next week after the triples final. I will be in touch by email and announcement on the website.

Once again I would like to thank everyone who was involved in the competitions, but also a very big thank you to Steve Whiting for his work in setting up the website for all round-robin event/scores, this was a very important part of the competitions.

Regards

Paul
