REDHILL BOWLING CLUB – SHORT MAT PROGRAMME UPDATE

30/01/2022

Following the recent government announcement from Thursday 27th January 2022 there is no legal requirement to wear face coverings when entering and walking around the club.

However, the RBC Directors emphasize the ongoing need for caution, and strongly recommend for Short Mat activities we follow the regime currently working so well within Donyngs IBC. This comprises:

  1. Wear a mask when entering and in the changing areas and clubroom.
  2. Wear a mask at all times if unvaccinated.
  3. Use personal preference when playing.

We also request that if you have any COVID symptoms or other concerns you should complete a negative test before visiting the Club.

Providing that the COVID situation does not significantly worsen we will restart the Short Mat programme with a practice session on Tuesday 8th February and Saturday Drives to restart on Saturday 12th February. Please arrive by 1.45pm for these sessions for a 2.00pm start.

Team leaders will draw for new team line ups in the Cats League after the practice session. The format and league schedule will also be agreed.

There is no need to sign up for the first Saturday Drive but please be there promptly.

New participants for the League and Drive are always welcome. Any questions please contact John Davison.
