TUESDAY TRIPLES LEAGUE RESULT

Well done to Alan Beaver’s Kent Team in beating the previous champions Essex in the final week to hold on to top spot and become the 2021 Champions.

It wasn’t plain sailing as Essex took a 4 shot lead on End 12 with two consecutive 5 shot ends. Kent quickly recovered with 4 shots on the next end to leave the scores 13-13 on End 13. Winning 2 of the 3 remaining ends ensured the title for Kent. Very frustrating for Allan Penton’s Sussex Team who sped away from Hants on the last 4 ends to win 18-9 and come a very close second in the final table.

Well done to all the players for making this season a very competitive and enjoyable one. Thanks also go to John Davison for this season’s league organisation.
