LSCBA COMPETITIONS UPDATE

22/05/2021

On Thursday 20th May Paul Eales and Bryan Gaunt beat the Old Coulsdon pair 22-16 in the Area C first round. They go on to play Belmont BC at Streatham in the next round. This was an extremely satisfying result for our pair against very distinguished players who have reached several national finals.

On Friday 21st May in the Challenge Shield Old Coulsdon got their revenge. RBC held a slender lead just after the half way mark but OCBC surged into a big lead in the final ends to win by 16. RBC home score was 14-24 and away score 21-27. A good effort by RBC but we couldn’t fully counter some big scoring ends by the strong opposition rinks.
