Club House Spring Cleaning

03/03/2019

MESSAGE FROM BRYAN GAUNT:

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for those members who helped with the spring cleaning of the clubhouse this weekend. It was a first class turn out and everyone participated with vim and vigour.

I am attaching a series of photos that will astound you. The photos of the main club room that appear to be in a mess is what was extracted from the men’s changing rooms. The items under the window, would you believe, came from the ladies changing room. The last few photos are how the changing rooms and the main room looks now. Let us all try to keep it this way!!!

All these items have now been placed temporarily in the visitors changing rooms. If any members have recollection of leaving something in their respective changing room please come along to retrieve it. The best time to do this is on a Tuesday morning or Saturday lunchtime, when someone will be around to provide the key to the visitors changing room.

There will also be an opportunity to reclaim items on our opening drive day. After that I will offer up the ‘collection’ for sale and all donations will be gratefully received by the club. We may organise a coffee morning for this.

Whatever is left, depending on condition, will either be disposed of or taken into club stock.

Once again, thanks so much to everyone for their efforts this weekend. The club is looking and smelling splendid.

Bryan Gaunt
